Starplus Digital Telephone Systems offer the sophistication required to meet the demands of modern business
communications. Modular hardware and a wide variety of standard features are combined to provide maximum system
flexibility. Fully digital architecture extends both digital voice transmission and system control to Starplus Digital
Key Telephones. Modular hardware for providing cost effective system customization and expansion is an inherent
design quality of Starplus digital systems - and they are fully compatible with Starplus Digital Key
Telephones and industry standard single line telephones. Single line telephone ports also provide interface for
Answering Machines, Fax Machines, Modems, Off Premise Extensions, and Voice Mail Systems.
The Starplus 612 supports up to 6 lines and 12 stations. The 1428 supports applications requiring up to 14
lines and 28 stations. The 2856 is designed for larger applications requiring up to 28 lines and 56 stations. And the
4896 supports up to 96 lines and 120 stations.
The Starplus Digital Key Systems offer expanded feature capabilities for more application-specific business
communications requirements.
Caller ID Integration enhances call handling by
combining
telephone company Caller ID data with system call processing. Caller ID features include Incoming Caller ID Display,
Incoming Caller SMDR, Unanswered Call management, Local Name/Translation, and PC Interface for Caller ID Data.
Off-Hook Voice Over allows busy executives to
have screened calls announced without
interrupting their existing call. They can then respond through silent messaging back to their secretary with the
appropriate response.
User Selectable Distinctive Ringing allows each
station user to select a unique ring for their
key telephone from the 81 different ringing choices that the system provides.
Trunking and Network Supportincludes
capabilities such as Direct
Inward Dialing (DID), E&M Tie Lines, and T-1
service.
Basic Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) is
optionally available to provide enhanced call
management. Among the features added are Agent Login/Logout, Agent ID, Help or Supervisor Alert, Silent Monitoring,
and Supervisor Positions.
